In order to make wetsuits that fit your body...

We take pride in producing tailor-made wetsuits that fit the body perfectly, which cannot be created with off-the-rack products.
When we make our product, we interview our clients and learn how they use their wetsuits.
Using our 50 years of experience and techniques in making the products, as well as our precise measurement skills, we make comfortable, hassle-free wetsuits.
The products are carefully handmade one by one by our skilled staff.

STEP 01Interview

We interview and find out the needs of our customers.
We ask our customers about their preferences such as kind of fabric, thickness, design, and style, as well as reasons for using wetsuits, period of usage, and other optional extras (location of knee pads, hood, and zipper).
We also get information about customers' bad experiences with wetsuits they have used before.

STEP 01

STEP 02Measurement

We measure about 30 places to make a wetsuit.
Our female staff will measure your body in the changing room, taking about 15 minutes.

STEP 02

STEP 03Cutting out a Pattern

We cut out a personalized pattern according to the measurement data.
We do not use CAD (computer-assisted design) software; all patterns are cut by hand.
By doing so, we can make even small changes that cannot be implemented by CAD.
All patterns cut here are unique and different; just like our bodies.

STEP 03

STEP 04Marking

We place pieces of the cut-out pattern on the fabric in order to cut it effectively.

STEP 04

STEP 05Cutting

We cut the fabric according to personalized patterns.

STEP 05

STEP 06Pasting Logo

We paste a logo onto the fabric

STEP 06

STEP 07Pasting

We paste all the pieces of the fabric together.
Certain fabrics such as the "skin type" are pasted together by experienced staff.
In this procedure, we need to take into consideration the humidity and temperature in the room, so we make precise changes to the air conditions.

STEP 07

STEP 08Sewing

We make sure hems will not fray easily and also make sure the fabric around the zipper is supportive.

STEP 08

STEP 09Packaging

We pack all our products by hand to make sure needles are not included in the packaging.

STEP 09

We interviewed Susumu Nakura, a skilled staff member who has been making wetsuits for 50 years, about his passion.

What are the benefits of handmade wetsuits?

INTERVIEW 02 INTERVIEW 02

When you make wetsuits with machines, if you tell the machine to cut by a meter, you get just that.
However, we make small alterations even within that same one meter.
In order to fit each customer’s body perfectly, we make minor changes by hand.
I believe that’s the quality of handmade suits.
